Monthly peer sessions

Once a month, David opens with his latest sensemaking: what is happening, what it means, and what it may demand of us. Then the room takes over. Members bring live questions and decisions, and you leave with one of them unstuck, or reframed.

Access to David

A personal call when you join. Ask David Anything sessions through the year. And a weekly Fellowship Note: his read on the developments that matter, so you can test your own thinking against it.

Expert workshops

Private conversations with people working at the frontier of AI, capital, longevity, entrepreneurship and the art of living well. The story firsthand, from the people building it.

In-person gatherings

Twice a year, the whole Fellowship meets in person. We visit the startups and labs building the world we are trying to understand, then sit down for a private dinner. Most of the friendships are made there.

The Fellowship Hub

A private portal for members. Curated reading and resources for thinking about what comes next. And the working tools members use to shape their own questions. Between sessions, the conversation carries on in a private members' WhatsApp group.

A few years ago I noticed something.

Many of the most accomplished people I met, from leaders to founders to creatives, were carrying questions they had nowhere to take.

What happens to work in the age of superintelligence? How will society hold together? How can I help my children to flourish? What kind of life do I want on the other side of this?

The rooms I moved in were built for other things: deal flow and operations. None of them had space for honest conversations about the acceleration we’re living through.

Most of what gets said about it comes from two camps. One tells you abundance is on the way. The other tells you to brace for catastrophe.

A few of us wanted a place where serious people could sit with uncertainty and think it through together. So I built one.

Once a month we meet online. I open with my latest thinking, then the room takes over with live questions and real decisions.

The Future Fellowship will never have more than 150 members, and every person in it was chosen with care.

If you’re carrying real questions about the future, I’d love to find out whether this is the right room for you.

FAQs

Who is the Fellowship for?

Founders, investors, executives and creatives who have operated at a serious level and are carrying questions about what comes next. Most have largely solved the financial question and found something harder in its place.

How does joining work?

You apply through the form. Rory and David read every application personally. If there may be a fit, Rory arranges a short conversation. David welcomes every new member with a private call before their first session.

What does membership cost?

£5,000 a year, excluding VAT. Monthly payment plans are available.

How long is the membership?

Membership is billed annually, but the Fellowship is not meant to be a one-year experiment. The value comes from staying with the same people for years, often a decade or more. These are relationships that compound over time.

How much time does it ask for?

Two hours a month, online, for the monthly session. Twice a year we meet in person in London. Expert sessions are optional, so come to the ones that interest you.

Where are members based?

London, New York, Austin, Berlin and Maui, among others. Sessions are online, so where you live is not the constraint.

Is the room private?

Yes. The Fellowship is capped at 150 members and every person in it was chosen carefully. What members bring into the room stays with the members.

What if it turns out not to be the right room?

Tell us within 45 days and we will refund you in full. The guarantee is there so the decision is an easy one.
